  • Box Office & Patron Management Solution - Developed and implemented a proposal for an integrated Box Office and Patron Management software solution that included a client/server network design and online ticketing system.
    
    The network consists of a Dell PowerEdge 1900 server running Windows Server 2008 and Dell Vostro 420 clients. Group policies are used to control login scripts for drive mappings, password policies, folder re-direction for My Documents, and windows update control via WSUS (Windows Server Update Services). Centralized security for server and clients are provided by Symantec Endpoint Protection, and disaster recovery is provided by Symantec Backup Exec. Printing services for network clients are provided by a centralized network printer on each floor of the office building.
    
    The ticketing and patron management system selected after an exhaustive search was developed by Choice Ticketing System in Boulder, CO and  is a fully integrated application that includes box office and online ticketing, credit card authorization, fundraising, membership, and volunteer management.
  • Performing Arts Web Site Design - Developed in ASP.NET and javascript to support rotating, fading images for concert themes/sponsor information and a content slider for upcoming concert detail. Incorporated a blog page with a web-based WYSIWYG editor that allows the music director to dynamically post content, pictures, and podcasts that are also available through RSS Feeds and iTunes. The web site also links to the box office and patron management software to support online ticket sales.   • Cycling Event Registration Web Site Design - Developed a cycling event information and registration web site in ASP.NET that seamlessly integrates into the existing Missoula Symphony web site. Features include on-line registration wizard form with content validation, PayPal PDT and IPN integration, volunteer contact information form, custom reporting, and links to the C4S (Cycle for the Symphony) Facebook and Twitter social networking sites.   • Karate Tournament MS Access Application - Managing annual karate tournaments can be a difficult task! A Microsoft Access database application was the perfect solution to handle event registration and automate the tasks of creating Kata score sheets or single elimination and round-robin Sparring match sheets. It even prints revenue reports to help balance your cash/check receipts at the end of the day and mailing labels to notify past attendees of upcoming tournaments.

  • Recreational Hockey League Web Site Design - Women's hockey is BIG in Missoula, MT. With nine months worth of web content, leagues, clinics, and tournaments to manage; the task list seemed endless. The basic solution was a custom CMS (Content Mangement System) web design that gave non-technical users the ability to easliy edit content through an on-online WYSIWYG editor. League, clinic, and tournament management is all handled by a database driven web interface that allows event managers to easily enter event detail, create leagues/teams, setup game schedules, and print out game sheets for scorekeepers. Once the data is input into the administration interface all web pages are dynamically created for team rosters/schedules, player/goalie statistics, and team standings.
